Had a good stay on a long weekend away in the Bay of Islands. Good little rooms and super-friendly and fairly friendly staff - we really enjoyed it. The hotel has comfy location next to Paihia because of parking congestion, and the garden. Furthermore, to almost private area.

The motel room was nice and clean - not just cleaned around things but under things too. The rooms were extremely well stocked with every possible requirement - a lot of thought has gone into them. Good quality furninsings. I loved the fact the tv was not on the wall so you weren't forced to crane your neck to look at it. I also liked the fact that the motel did not seem to obviously cater for children so it was very peaceful for a change, and I would go back for a romantic break if this was the norm.

Was the best place we stayed for the whole of our trip to New Zealand. Had a nice pool, only a few rooms and staff very friendly and helpful.
A little far out from the main shops and bars.
